What Is the TCPA?
The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) is a federal law enacted in 1991 that protects consumers from unwanted telemarketing calls, text messages, and faxes. It requires businesses to obtain your prior express written consent before contacting you using autodialers, prerecorded messages, or automated text messages for marketing purposes.
The TCPA exists to protect your privacy. We take it seriously.
What Are You Consenting To?
When you check the consent box on any form on VA Loan TB (valoantb.com) and submit your information, you are providing your prior express written consent to:
- Receive phone calls (including calls using autodialers, prerecorded messages, and AI-assisted calls) at the phone number you provided
- Receive text messages (SMS/MMS) at the phone number you provided
- Receive emails at the email address you provided
- Communications from Barrett Henry / VA Loan TB and its real estate and lending partners about home buying, financing, and related services

By consenting, you may receive communications from:

- Real estate and lending partners — VA-approved lenders or real estate professionals Barrett works with to serve your homebuying needs
Message and Data Rates
Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply to text messages. Message frequency varies based on your inquiry and ongoing communication. We do not charge separately for text messages.
How Do You Opt Out?
You can opt out at any time using any of these methods:
- Text: Reply STOP to any text message you receive from us
- Phone: Tell Barrett or any representative during a call that you want to be removed from the contact list
- Email: Send an opt-out request to hello@valoantb.com
- Call: Call (813) 733-7907 and request removal
Once you opt out, we will stop the specified type of communication within a reasonable time period (typically within 24-48 hours for automated systems).
Your Rights Under the TCPA
- You have the right to revoke consent at any time
- You have the right to not be contacted without your prior express written consent
- You have the right to file a complaint with the FCC if you believe your rights have been violated
- You may be entitled to damages of $500-$1,500 per violation if your TCPA rights are violated (we take compliance seriously to avoid this)
